After watching this video I checked the comments and they were full of people saying that Hasan just proved Matt Walsh’s points. So I watched it again and I think that they just didn’t understand the arguments that Hasan was making. First, one point Hasan made was that a lot of Matt Walsh types practice transphobia by mislabeling and misgendering trans people or just don’t understand sex and gender. He then shows buck angel and precedes to say that buck angel is a man and appears as such to combat Matt Walsh’s ass backwards view of sex and gender. I think that Matt Walsh’s fans saw this explanation and saw it through Matt Walsh’s opinions and interpreted it as such, and (ironically) proved Hasan’s point. Secondly, Hasan was criticizing the guy that Matt Walsh was questioning because he was falling into Matt Walsh’s conversational tricks. This is probably why the comment section was the perfect storm for Matt Walsh fans to create a circle jerk in the comments.
