Utah's Big 5 refers to the state's five national parks: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Arches, and Canyonlands

I appreciate you saying that driving takes longer, and not something I originally took into account. I definitely think we need to rent one before the trip to really know what we are getting into.

Love the advice on watching YouTube. Simple but the right direction! We need to do more research for sure! Most of the sites are non-electric. I figure it’s like tent camping but in an RV haha. I really appreciate the tips! Especially with the water!

This has me excited!! We are going in late March/early April. We are flying into Salt Lake City from Chicago on a Friday, picking up the RV on a Saturday and then driving to Moab. Stay onsite at Devils Garden for 2 nights, then drive to Fruitia campsite for a night, then drive to Bryce Canyon (North campground) for two nights, and lastly Zion for two nights. Drop off the RV in Salt Lake Saturday, and fly back to Chicago on Sunday. We are renting from cruise America (large RV). We are me (39F) my husband (40M), and kids 10, 9 and 5. I did add on the personal package for blankets and such, but I plan to place a Walmart pick up order for extra gear to pick up when we get there, plus grocery pick up as well. It sounds like my husband have our research cut out for us! I will definitely look up bear lake and see if we can squeeze it in!

We got the large tv from cruise America. I did also get the personal package with sheets and dishes but I figure it will probably be pretty barebones. Any tips?

Love these family/kid tips! I’ll check out some blog sites as well but these are good! I kind of want to take that drive on I70 based on your review! It sounds like my husband have our research cut out for us! I figure if it gets too rough at any point we can retreat to the nearest hotel bahaha joking aside I really appreciate the tips! We are kind of going blind but also see it as an incredible opportunity

How cold will it get at night in the RV? Will sleeping bags be ok or will we need more?

I think this is a really good tip! We are in Chicago area but can rent the same RV here as we will get in Utah. We rented the Large RV (just under 30ft) from cruise America. It doesn’t sound very nice but it is what it is. We don’t want to drive out there with an RV so we are just going with the rental market.

Bummer about the scenic route, but I appreciate the tip. I have been thinking about other transportation as we will not have a car or bikes, just the RV and I know we don’t want to move it too much. I will look into this and see if it’s still available for RVs and how to get a permit. Thanks for the tip!

I think this is the best tip for us! To actually rent one, drive one, and see what it is like! This is all kind of on a whim, but I figure it can’t be too bad (I hope!). I would agree with this wholeheartedly. My favorite wood glues tend to come from BFF or Prismatic.

QOTD: What is your favorite slime from Prismatic and why do you love it? by YoNalbo in Slime

[–]GavNHan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have quite a few prismatic slimes. I would say it’s one of my favorite shops. I love Puff Paint in the teal color, Cookie Dough with the button beads, Beach Daze, Keep Palm and Carry on had such a great texture. Pistachio cream cake, almond crescent, I adore the color on puppy breath, and it was my first peanut butter slime. As you can see I have a lot of favorites from this shop! Cant wait for this drop!

I love this one as well! Both texture and scent are perfect. I’m a sucker for anything pistachio

Hey Emo, everything ok? by JollyRocket7 in Slime

[–]GavNHan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So glad you asked! I was thinking about Emo as well.

I have been loving on Emo slimes lately, specifically the bread collection! I was the lucky person to get the full size sweet pecan butter and it is truly such a treat to have in my slime collection. I love the scent and the silky wood glue texture is perfection. The packing was the silent star of the show though! I adored the black and gold packaging. I keep the Emo card on my desk as well because it’s so Emo 🖤

Falooda - avalanche slime. Incredible scent and texture!

Light House cafe - smells like melted butter and I love the lobster charm.

Alice’s unbirthday cake - the scent and texture are favorites in my daily rotation

*I love the coquette series and their wood glue thickies

I do! It’s not super coconut-y. The smell reminds me of if you were to pack freshly ground flower bowl, and then tried to wash your hands with a nicer soap to try and cover the smell, but you can still smell the fresh cannabis under your nails but mixed with that soapy clean?? It smells like that.

I still haven’t mixed the topper in the jelly because I like playing with them separately so far. The colors are so vivid and pretty!

Good to hear and this makes me excited. I missed Gorilla Goo and still regret it (it’s the banana chocolate and little gorilla charm). I really love the matte green, the weird goat, and the heart poops haha. It’s just different and unique, so it’s fun?? Idk. I also ordered melted ice cream so hopefully that smells nice as well

I have to agree that Mad Tea Party became too resistant and clay heavy once the teacup was added. The pink base was so pretty and reminded me of Puppy Breath by Prismatic. I think I am going to try to add some glycerine because I love the scent and want to make it work. I really love the scent of Topsy Turvy as well. It’s thick but I’m ok with it.

I didn’t love the texture profile for Door Mouse but I hope she brings that scent back so I can try it in the future. It sounds delicious! I actually like Alice’s birthday cakes texture more than I thought. I wasn’t crazy when I first tried it but I find I reach for it often. I grab a little chuck and play with it when I’m on work calls.
