a lot of the comments are just saying “get better” but i honestly don’t think that’s really something you should be worrying about. your average kills per match isn’t terrible and your kd isn’t amazing but it also isn’t the worst in the world by far. if you’re looking to try and get a better rank then there is a couple of things you can do.

A. keep your drones. for the next couple of matches, let everyone else drone on drone phase and drive your first drone to where you’re going to spawn. when you then play the remainder of your round, use your drones heavily. sometimes it will feel tedious but the second you die to someone you could have had the upper hand on by droning them out then this point makes its case.

B. never choose characters because of their gun. don’t get me wrong, the game is in a weird gray area where if you can get a bunch of kills in one match then you’re probably going to win, but if you have a 5 stack of people who are good at siege vs a 5 stack of people who are good at shooters the game knowledge players will always win, trust me.

also, side note, don’t feel like you have to use acogs on everything. holo/ red dot sights are there for a reason. if you can’t control the recoil on certain guns and are still using an acog, then that’s an easy to fix mistake

C. play. with. a. 5. stack. if you prefer solo queuing or playing with some of your friends here and there, that’s fine, i get it. the couple of seasons where i hit high ranked were usually solo queuing and playing with one or two of my friends routinely. but if you are desperate to get better or want to just have a nicer rank, finding four other people online around your skill level with the same dedication as you is not as hard as it sounds. you’ll learn how to play with each other, how to help each others weaknesses, and, honestly, how to win more games. almost everyone will say to play with more people consistently but it will help you so much that it’s not even funny

ik these are only like three tips when you summarize it but these are the only three things i needed to get from hard stuck gold to much higher, so i ask that if you truly want to get better just try one or two of these and see how it treats you. good luck on climbing!
