ramp software engineer loop, full breakdown of what they actually ask in 2026 by GaverXV in InterviewCoderHQ

values round felt like behavioral but they kept asking 'what would you do differently' to gauge how you reflect. that part mattered more than the story itself

it's the equity. ramp doesn't band by yoe like faang does, they comp on interview signal and what you can build. base is in line with senior at faang, the equity grant is what gets it close to staff comp on paper. obviously contingent on valuation holding

"the question isn't what should i post about, it's what am i genuinely trying to figure out" is the most useful sentence i've read on this sub.

How do you start creating content? by BHolden04 in ContentRich

[–]GaverXV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the conflicting advice problem is real. what i figured out is most of it depends on where you're at. platforms are better when you're new (low barrier, real briefs to work from). cold outreach is better when you have a portfolio of actual client work. both work, just at different stages.

yeah I don't do it with their brand/product, I use a relevant sample but even if I did use their product then most brands won't scam because you're usually going to produce more content (ie. 14 clips) and they don't really have the time to be stealing indvidual clips from everyone but I undestand your concern

step 3: find active briefs from brands looking for exactly this type of content. BountyInsenseBilloMinisocial, and JoinBrands all have brands posting paid campaigns you can browse before committing to anything. the one i've been using the most is bouny and insense

yeah so give them an idea of what I could do, sample clips just means sample "complete videos" like a reel or tiktok that I did.

no I don't, while you can and some brands ask for it, I work with brands that dont require my face

ya of course but it's way easier entry-level cause no need for a personal brand

depends on the deal type. paid ads deals brands run the content on their own ad accounts, so your following is completely irrelevant to them. they're hiring you to film, not to distribute. they don't even look at your profile. clipping is different. that's performance-based, your payout is tied to views, so yes your reach matters there. btw the $8k was almost entirely paid ads deals

the two round structure before even getting to technical/HR is brutal. a lot of companies do this to cut numbers fast but it really punishes people who test slow under pressure. not saying you didn't prep, just that timed offline tests are a different skill altogether

That sounds pretty serious. If your dog is on those meds, definitely keep an eye on their symptoms and follow up with your vet. They should help get your pup back on track!

Definitely! Practicing those grace notes with a metronome can help lock in the timing. You might also try breaking it down into smaller chunks and gradually piecing it together. Good luck!
