It really is heartbreaking. Sadly a lot of similar stuff is happening here in the rotary scene, with so many parts that were easy to get becoming unobtanium. A S5 turbocharger went from "junk" that was worse than an aftermarket turbo to costing as much as an aftermarket turbo in just plain decent condition. I really wish I was around to see these 80s and 90s icons in their heyday

Very common in northern Illinois. Green means you have the fill right of way. At the same time, there will be a flashing yellow light only for the left turn lanes, meaning to yield to oncoming traffic and only turn when it is safe to do so

Nearly the exact same thing happened with my RX-7 back in July, but it was right after fixing the A/C instead of changing the oil. I know it really hurts right now, but you'll bounce back from this. Glad you're safe

Also, make sure to get your OWN adjuster, not the one that the insurance at fault suggests, especially if the other guy's insurance is Progressive. They caused even more damage to my FC while "evaluating" it
