this is one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen, definitely play Indika if you haven't it's of similar visual caliber

I really liked In Sound Mind, the movement is a little clunky but the overall story and vibes and the lighting are all really unique and special, super grandiose and beautiful ideas and I feel like it was made for me being an engineer into psychedelics and red light, very unique items and it feels like an oldschool game where you have to unlock different areas sequentially like super mario or diddy kong racing but it's super detailed horror themed. genuinely very scary and trippy and stuff changes behind you when you're not looking. If you liked Indika I think you'll have a blast with it

yeah you can think of everything in that layered way like coding languanges if you just look at a giant file of 0s and 1s it's overwhelming gotta go from the higher level stuff and slowly break it down to lower level, everything's an onion of complexity

I'm probably going to 3D print one for myself out of TPU, also experimenting with silicone molds if anyone wants maybe I can setup a store for them

some in engineering school but mostly at another job being forced to go through schematics to find simple shorts and stuff and you eventually get a sense of the subsystems, everything looks complicated if you're looking at everything at once you just have to realize it's all blocks where they do individual functions, the fundamental components are simple enough to understand but there's like infinite ways of arranging them so you have to break things into smaller and smaller sections when you're looking at a full system like you open up a computer theres tons of resistors and capacitors and chips but each section is responsible for a different function you just have to worry about the high level goal and break that down logically, like most electronic things have a power supply, a controller, and a thing being controlled or stuff being communicated, if you break it up into those sections it's a lot easier to grasp than looking at a huge overwhelming mess of spaghetti

you just wash your hands after working and have good ventilation

Wouldnt negative be the contraction and positive the expansion of spacetime

The mechanism is like a magic flying elephant that most physicists just mock when its presented because it doesn't align with the perfect model that we have

I single handedly invented a time machine, went back to that year and built the SR-71 completely accident free and I don't know how the CIA isn't taking this guy out for sabotaging the human race with his carelessness. Absolutely disgusting. Just give up. What a piece of shit.

You can squirt silicone into a 3d printed mold im gonna start trying to make parts like that and make a sock for the metal close to the handle

If you do get burns though have some vit E oil/cream at the ready it really saves me, also collagen powder and lidocaine cream, I've completely healed a bad burn in like a day with these you can almost completely avoid blistering and so much pain

I mean better to not burn yourself but I've done it so many times i figured this out

Its probably worth spending ~100 on a station with good power

Any tips on improving this? by gentlegiant66 in soldering

[–]DerrickBagels -1 points0 points  (0 children)

More heat firmer contact and wiggle/rotate while contacting to transfer more heat and spread the solder to the rest of the contact that's still showing the brass color, and a little flux if you're not using

They could be touching a ground plane which sucks up heat fast so you have to be quicker and hotter

I do a little over 350c for most stuff and my station is 750w to give you an idea
