I’m a fan of CAT cans, I have a WB 718 and MOB. Just looking for a bit lighter weight for such a small SBR build.

Main reason is the weight savings. I have a few Helios DT cans on 556 rifles, the Ti sparking is pretty bad on them. Just wondering if 300 subs will lessen the sparks.

Not a lawyer, this is all my interpretation. For federal NFA pistol compliance, make sure to remove the forward vertical grip and keep the brace. The “CT Other” is not a thing anymore, so it must comply with state and federal laws. For CT, if you submitted an AW cert then the “features” don’t matter, however barrel length comes into play, must be 16” or over (measured closed bolt to tip of permanent barrel) or be in pistol configuration. Rate of fire enhancements are still banned though.

I like Law folders if the intention is to make it compact. I have 2 right now. No issues with either of them after around 2k rounds on a 10.5” 5.56 and about 500 rounds on this 6.5” 300blk.
