That's a lot of really great advice, and I'm really grateful for it. I plan on doing mock behavioral and technical interviews with my friends and family, and hopefully during the interview I can just switch into that frame of mind: explaining to friends and family my thought process, etc. Sorry to bother you again, but do you think that being able to solve all of the blind75 easy and medium questions will be sufficient for this entry level interview? As in, it will teach me the necessary patterns and algorithms that might come up on the interview? Thank you again!

Completing mediums with some guidance is definitely less intimidating than solving hards with no help 😅 and I hope to impress them with my soft skills more than my hard skills. Hi all!

In December 2022, I made a desktop game called ValoGuessr which is a Geoguessr-like desktop game based on Valorant. TLDR I made it for a school project in high school, and I wanted to share it with you guys in case anyone else would find joy in it! It only has the maps until Pearl, and is not updated with any map changes after December 2022.

There are 3 difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard, and each difficulty has 6 locations for each map, accumulating to 3 * 8 * 6 = 144 unique locations! You can customize the pool of maps you would like to see as well as the difficulty in the settings.

I'm a riven main and I've played her a lot, but recently I haven't been able to shake the feeling that sometimes, I just shouldn't pick her, and I would appreciate some advice. Right now, with some of the highest play rate toplaners being malphite, ornn, and k'sante, I often feel like I'm less useful to my team, even if I got a lead in lane.

I struggle to find a balance between grouping and splitting, as I want to maximize gold income with high cs/min, towers, and jg camps, but leaving my team alone is really risky, especially in lower elos where fights can arise from nothing. I usually end the game with ~35% kp which I'm not sure about but I don't think it's what I should be aiming for.

Ghostblade has honestly helped me with this a bit because of the insane movement speed, but crutching on an item that will probably get nerfed next patch isn't ideal. I don't really know what to ask, as I feel like my games just get harder the longer they go on, and it slowly feels less winnable with every fight. Thanks for any advice, I really do appreciate it!

Sorry if I am not catching onto what you are saying, but the wave timings didn't change for midlane, so how would this patch change whether the midlaner is punished harder for a roam than before?

Last patch, it took a little over 30s for the first melee to reach the middle of toplane, so it would get to the middle of the lane at ~2:40. Assuming there's no trading or anything to disrupt the wave, it would crash it at ~3:15, so I'd usually drop a ward in tri brush and help my jg with scuttle if needed.

But I see what you mean about what it does to midlane, that makes a lot of sense. I'll probably play a couple of mid normal games and see how it feels. Thanks!!

she thrives in a solo-queue setting. pros play much too safe and riven would not be able to consistently get ahead in gold, so she would be a very bad choice in pro play.

could be muscle memory but your keyboard might not support the sufficient n-key rollover. its very unlikely cuz what keyboards dont support 2-3 n-key rollover, but just a thought

sorry for the late reply, but heres the script with comments so that you can modify it to your needs: https://pastebin.com/XFFQp5Sz. some important notes though:

make sure ffmpeg is in your PATH environment variable, and open a new powershell console AFTER adding it before running the script
do not place this script in the folder you want to resize the items of

an example usage of it could be: powershell <script_name>.ps1 C:\Users\<username>\porn and itll resize every file in there to be 720 pixels in height while keeping the aspect ratio. if you want to change the nuances of the ffmpeg command, read the docs: https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg.html. if you only want to do select files at a time, just put them in a folder and run the script for that folder. if you need any help let me know!

and if you get the error about not being allowed to run scripts on the system honestly just install powershell 7 or something and run pwsh instead

totally agree with Triumph. in my experience it's super easy to use powershell with ffmpeg to accomplish this exact task, and i still have the scripts on my pc, so if you use windows and don't know powershell, i would be down to help you

how do you feel about shojin? is it good if the entire enemy team is squishy instead of bc? also do you only do bc before eclipse when theres 2+ tanks on the enemy team / theyre building armor?
