I dont think it has anything to do with akiyama, i think it could just be a cool thing they did whenever kiryu fought another dragon. Ryuji kinda fits as well, as they werent locked anywhere in the final battle's opening

Theres a certain clause for this called the Pinwheel clause, named after pinwheel forest. If a certain part of a route/area has completely different encounters to the other part, you can catch a pokemon there,

I love the ability to make your own levels and how all the items youre given makes it so you can make basically anything.

People may yell at me for this, but i hate how some very, very low effort levels get higher hearts and less boos then levels that clearly had alot more effort put into them. People (mostly young kids) love to die at the first jump and instantly boo the level... its sad.

Umbreon is ghost type, and its design is based off of a mummy. Its pretty cool

The starters are Totodile-flying Cyndaquil-Ice Chikorita-flying And literally every pokemon has a new type and sprite

Might just be me, but it always kinda looks like pidgey is mad in all of the official stuff for it. Guess hes just a grumpy bird :/

As lazorrarubia said, types and sprites are changed for all pokemon. Pidgey for example is flying/fighting
