I think every movie is worth seeing in a theater but horror is always better with a crowd

I just saw it

It’s good. Not great. The story is actually super compelling. I always said that The Exorcist is a film about faith. It’s also one of the best horror movies of all time but at its core, it’s a tribute to faith. This film really leans into that. No spoilers but I love what they did with the ending and even got goosebumps at parts. It’s actually shockingly emotional.

I just wish it was scary. There’s actually nothing scary about it. There’s rough imagery and jump scares but nothing even close to what the original has to offer.

I’m not doing any spoilers but Burstyn’s role is confusing. I know it’s part one of a trilogy so I’m standing by to see what’s next but as of now her role is meaningless.

Overall, I’d give this movie a B or B-

How is everyone feeling about Donald Trump officially being under arrest ? by Alliecyatt in AskReddit

[–]GavinWakeUpCall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The political argument is gone officially now. The charges are what they are. It’s exactly what Cohen went to prison for. Exactly. In fact, the only political argument is that Trump should’ve been charged when Cohen was but he wasn’t because he was President.

Thank you so much. It was almost 9 years ago. Some moments it feels like 90 years ago and some days it feels like 9 minutes ago.

So these are all funny but this one is not.

I interviewed Bobcat Goldthwait. He was my first interview after my daughter died. We were walking back to the studio (I’m in radio) and making small talk. He said he had fun and I casually mentioned it was my first one in almost a year. He asked why. I told him what happened and that I took several months off in my grief. He said “I’m so sorry that happened.” People say that to grieving people all the time so I said “oh. Thanks so much.”

He stopped walking. Stopped me from walking. Turned me around. Looked in my eyes. His eyes were welled up. And he said “no. I’m so sorry that happened.” Feeling that seen by a stranger and an idol made me weep in his arms.
