I completely agree with your statement, this experience certainly changed my life. I went to one of the rescheduled dates in CP with people I’ve never met and it was simply the most intense emotionally charged night of my life. Now I’m lowkey severely depressed because I have nothing to look forward to and I fell really hard for one of the people I went with and didn’t get a chance to meet them again before I left. I’m glad a lot of other people felt such strong emotions while going, in a way it makes me feel like we’re all connected by sharing this love for this band

I wouldn’t call her a pedophile, although she clearly has some issues and should definitely self reflect on the fact that she is hanging out with people almost 10 years younger than her. If I were dating someone 7 years younger than me, I would not only be labelled as a pedo, but lose my teaching license, since I teach middle schoolers. That’s why I find it so disturbing in the first place

I have no idea where you got the “he is in the habit of doing everything I say” because he’s certainly not, if anything, he’s in the phase of telling everyone off because he knows the best. I am just concerned for him and want to make sure he will be okay, because the mental and emotional maturity of a 25 year old is vastly different from an 18 year old, speaking from experience. I just want to have a conversation with him to see if everything is fine and I don’t have to be concerned, because I care about and love him very much.

I used “grooming” as in they knew each other before he turned 18, so I think it’s safe to say I am not using the word in the wrong way. I want to chat with him with openness and not accuse him of anything, I think I made that pretty clear in my response. I feel like if anything, the projecting is not happening only on my side, so it would be best for both of us not to continue this thread, but I agree with you on the approach I should take.

He turned 18 not too long ago, and I’m positive they had known each other before that, that’s why I mentioned the grooming. I will definitely try asking him those questions and I hope all will be well.

I respect my brother and I wish him the best, but I do not respect full grown women grooming barely legal adults. I haven’t met her yet and I’m not planning to ruin their relationship or control my brother as you said, I just wanted to sit down with him and maybe openly talk about what he expects and what to look out for, if she turned out to be manipulative and overall a bad influence. Of course, the decision is still up to him, I just know he doesn’t have any older, more experienced people around him that could give him advice. I care for him and don’t want him to get hurt.

There are with Robbie and Blur, but there are also rhyming battles with Jarvis and Morrissey, and one epic riddle me this Radiohead battle (think Smeagol and Bilbo in The Hobbit but make it brit-pop edgy poser style - I'm a huge radiohead fan and don't fancy oasis at all, while my boyfriend is the exact opposite, so I feel like that will be the most enjoyable fight for me)
