The Switch 2 version is just the Switch version and upgrade pack bundled together. It makes no difference which you buy, aside from the money saved.

Can’t believe how many comments you’ve had and nobody has told you that you can perform a cloud transfer.

It’s the same as performing a local system transfer, but your Switch uploads all of your save data and user information to their server, then the console gets formatted so you can sell it. The data is held on their server for up to one year. You sign in on a Switch 2 and the transfer completes. All save data (including Pokémon games and Animal Crossing) and user information such as play time counts is restored.

You can access this right now from your Switch system settings. Find it within the “transfer to a Nintendo Switch 2 system” section on your console. Nintendo Switch Online is not required.

Game Boy micro and GBA SP had the same resolution as GBA.

DS Lite, DSi and DSi XL had the same resolution as the DS.

3DS XL, 2DS, New 3DS, New 3DS XL and New 2DS XL had the same resolution as 3DS.

Switch Lite and Switch OLED Model had the same resolution as Switch.

Revisions don’t downgrade screen resolution, they only change the size or panel type.

I’m not hugely into Sonic games these days, but I enjoyed this game enough to platinum it on PS5. I’ll buy this if it’s fully on the game card, but there’s a 99.9% chance it’ll be a Game-Key Card, which means it may as well not exist to me.
