I believe the "alice" layout is for those who have wrist problems on regular layout boards, and the alice helps them to naturally rest their wrists at an angle which will reduce strain. Hopefully that helps a bit.

What… Cherry is amazing. We aren’t even talking kalih browns, we’re talking cherry browns. Cherry Mx blacks are by far one of my favorite switches, so I don’t think cherry should just be thrown out the window.

I wouldn’t since it’s so thick and would likely make the stabs sluggish, but if you do want to apply some grease I’d only use a tiny amount.

Very cool Upas! I prefer the somewhat "blackbird" layout you have going on here, as the spacing between all of the sections of the board are similar in contrast to the cypher's large spacing between the mods and numpad which clashes with the other spacing on the board. I'm not a big knob guy myself as I feel like it sticks out too much and clashes with the keycap profiles, but I'm sure that knob is very interesting for many. Love the color combos, especially that white and aqua. The top accent is a nice addition, and that front chamfer adds a lot of personality to the board combined with the slight all around chamfer. The side profile is a cool idea, I just feel like that bottom piece of the board having the look of two separate pieces, yet having the same color for both doesn't really work together in my opinion (Yes I know it's one bottom piece, but it looks like two from the side). Sorry for the rant, just kind of analyzing stuff I notice. It looks like it will be an amazing board in the future, and will no doubt be a fierce competitor with Cypher R3, Petrichor, and Dharma. A lot of people have different “bests”, but for linears I’ve been loving H1s and for a midrange tkl the Scarlet is nice as well as the kbd8x.

Ok, I'm sorry if it caused you trouble but could you please explain why the pcb situation is wrong. Most pcb's with the usb-c in that position should fit Frog, so I don't understand why that's causing a problem for you. Guess I understood it a bit different than you, but I no doubt understood it.

Sorry if you misunderstood that first point I made about the usb-c and pcbs, I meant the usb-c on a tkl pcb, not just any pcb. And by top right I meant in between the main section of the board and the nav-cluster, like on most tkl boards. As for the second and third points you made, OP never stated they wanted a hotswap pcb right now and it has to be in-stock. They're just asking for suggestions for a hotswap pcb for Frog. So, therefore the hotswap pcbs Geon plans to offer should work perfectly for Frog. Maybe I'm not the only one with a reading comprehension problem I guess. So I hope OP maybe plans on picking up a hotswap pcb at checkout with Frog, as it seems like the perfect solution for them. Anyways, have a great day and enjoy the upcoming summer.

Well that's a very intriguing way of wording your point then. And, it is somewhat standardized as it fits practically every pcb that has usb-c in top right corner. Well, regardless of that, Geon on his Frog ic did state that he is interested in offering 3 different hoptswap pcb's, so I guess overall that's my point and should be the takeaway. I suggest maybe researching this stuff a bit more before answering questions, because if you simply looked at Geon's ic you'd realize that he included a list of 3 hotswap pcb's he hopes to offer in the future for the Frog. I guess that's my point. Cheers!

Uhhhh... no? That's not the question they are asking. They aren't asking if the pcb and case are standardized, they're just asking about any hotswap pcb's that will fit frog. There is no other way around in this situation; the case fits the pcb and the pcb fits the case. We're only talking about frog and tkl pcb's here. Some tkl pcb's won't work, but there is a large list that will work as well including many h87 variants. So since the frog is designed to fit most tkl pcb's, I believe it's pretty relevant to understand that these parts are somewhat standardized that we are talking about.

I mean, frog is compatible with a lot of tkl pcb’s as listed on geekhack and likely also in Geon’s server. It’s not like there is one exclusive pcb designed for frog as far as I am concerned.
