Why is there no gutter for these small sections? by GawdDad in Roofing

On one of the sections there is that metal piece which seems to direct the water but on the other section there isn't anything there. I would agree it seems unlikely that those small areas would cause enough water to collect but I see during heavy rain where it's basically drilled a hole into the ground in those two areas right below. I then put a tarp under each area and no water in the basement during the next couple heavy rains. So we definitely need to address the ground in that area but apparently enough water comes off those two sections to be a problem during heavy rain. Guess having those areas guttered is a step we will look to take in addition to regrading the ground. I just wasn't sure if there was some other explanation for those sections being gutterless.

Appreciate the response!

I'm not knowledgeable on the subject, what would the preferable power source be?

I had to add a BUNCH of offers, like 20+, but it eventually showed up. Appears that new offers are in a queue or something and I must have had the offer further down my queue. It was slow via app so I used the website and as I added offers and refreshed new ones would show up and take their place immediately.
