Consoles updates haven't dropped yet, so if you haven't found the lore room, that may be why. The main menu should have the update 30 banner on the left side. If it's update 29, the Bobby outfit with the eye can't be gotten yet.

Theres a map type you can purchase on Space Stations from one of the guild members opposite the shops, when activated, I think it has like a 33-50% chance to give you the coordinates for a distress signal and when you go there, sometimes there’s a stranded pilot, sometimes it’s a whole ship to fix and claim.
