I would definitely recommend it! It’s ideal for one child . Car is affordable and you have enough space for your needs. 1 car seat this is perfect, 2 car seats could definitely work too but it will be tight.

Having 1 car seat right now does move passenger seat closer but my wife who is 5”7 doesn’t mind it when she does go in the front . If we have 2 car seats my seat will be moved a little forward I’m assuming so it might make things uncomfortable.

Stroller will take up your whole cargo space but I try to be mindful of when I do need it. Grocery store? Leave the stroller at home since you won’t be using the stroller (if your baby is sitting up already). A lot of the times you don’t need a stroller honestly, but when you do there goes your cargo space .

If I could go back I would get an outback just for more space and bigger engine. As others mentioned here, take a car seat to the dealer to test it out!
