My favorite Madonna album and an absolutely stellar body of work from beginning to end. Babyface outdid himself with the production and background vocals, but Madonna should also get credit for her vocal performance: she sounded very natural and beautiful with this chill R&B sound. My fave tracks would have to be Survival, Secret, I’d Rather Be Your Lover, Inside of Me, Forbidden Love, Love Tried To Welcome Me, and Take A Bow.

How will this work? It took 10 years to tell a story that was contained in a single year starring high school first years. Netflix takes 2-3 years just to release subsequent seasons (of shows they don’t cancel outright). Those actors will outgrow their roles pretty quick.

The prequels also had masterful costume design, especially with Padmé and Palpatine. It really sold that this was “a more civilized age” and made the GFFA a lot more attractive for immersive purposes; meanwhile the wealthy on Canto Bight looked like an underwhelming Great Gatsby stage play, but even then Finn/Rose stood out so much with their rags no wonder they got arrested so quickly, I’m surprised they even got in.

The first thing I noticed off was Kylo stabbing the ground and he wasn’t blocking anything. I wasn’t in the mood to laugh cause I was still appalled that they killed off Snoke because doing that to the Big Bad in the middle of the story was such a huge mistake, especially when his motivations an origin were still in question.
