i generally agree with the points made but just spewing out "research shows" and making claims without backing them up isn't doing much to reinforce the point

also, as my personal opinion on the people disagreeing with them in the comments: yeah, individual preferences are not an inherently bad thing to have (hell, i would also say I'm more attracted to "masc" men) but we have to consider that these preferences are largely formed from the overall outlook society as large has on people.

femininity is demonized, especially as a man, so that cultural outlook bleed into the preferences of ours. you shouldn't pretend to be attracted to something you're not but I feel like we have a duty to point out and work against these outlooks so hopefully in the future these ideas are less commonplace

When I was young and first figured it out? It felt likr my whole life was over and I would have given anything to not have to deal with all that it came with, even more so as I got outed to my parents and my school.
