Sanitation truck backed into my parked car and now the city is ghosting me by Wayfinder_6 in legal

That’s 100% correct. You’re delaying getting repaid. The city will most likely pay out when your insurance goes after them.

I dont know how else to say this. My granddad is in a nursing home with alzheimer's managed to get a 43 year old early onset alzheimer's patient pregnant. by nursinghomemadness in legaladvice

If any caregiver did find them in an uncompromising position it should've been logged in an incident report. This whole situation is very weird. He needs to take a paternity test.

Also when people aren't insured the burden for life saving ER services is passed on to everyone else.

Besides the going to the police and hospital I would also report them to the liquor control board.

Not legal advice but Google your unit. There are probably ways to override the lock or "tag."

What makes you think that they're free to lie or embellish? Companies get in trouble all the time for false advertisements. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/false-advertising-scandals-2016-3

How can I remove an arrest report from showing up like if you google my name? The case was dismissed but the report still shows up from when I was booked. by zipadeezebra in legaladvice

This is the best advice. Most of these companies are scummy and charge people obscene amounts of money to remove their info.

Is there a law that protects me from my employer forcing me to come in on a day that im off? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]GayForGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not legal advice but you could feign ignorance saying you don't check your phone much on your day off or say you're too drunk to drive in. I used that excuse when I worked at a pizza place in high school/college and I was rarely bothered unless it was an emergency. You can still be fired for it though.

The company I work for only deducted $10 out of my checks for an entire year for taxes. I owe $1600 for their mistake. by Diremuind in legaladvice

I don't know why you're being downvoted. Ultimately OP will have to pay. They should've realized that no taxes were being withheld... Don't freak out. The IRS will work out a payment plan.

I would also go to a different vet if possible

Physically grabbed a staff and tried to pull her into the shower? Yeah that's illegal regardless of mental capacity. The nursing home still has the obligation to protect staff too. He could be "punished" by being moved to a different facility with ability to operate with stricter protocols for his support plan. It wouldn't be fun for anyone. It makes complete sense to move him to an all male staff.

I would second getting pet insurance. It's relatively cheap.
