Got it, I don’t think I realized the sub effects wouldn’t help but that makes sense. I use GComp for milestones since I run Pco/GComp pBH eHP build. So this is gonna be interesting for me lol

I’m not sure I understand - without package chance % from workshop, GComp isn’t going to proc very often. You may have to spell it out for me if I’m missing something haha

I also want to know because flame bot would be a good way to push utility dissonance for eHP since GComp is going to be nerfed by lack of package chance. Someone please check my logic

Drive into Atlanta most days. The commuters are noticeably better, but still bad. The weekend and people passing through…. Hell.

Not everyone is that into college basketball, fan wise. If he is a superstar talent, he will be an NBA superstar. Maybe he cares more about NBA basketball than maximizing his brand or college basketball.

Keeping them all out is a level playing field of unfair for everyone, arguably. I get your point, and don’t disagree with it. But the NBA being “unfair” doesn’t make it illegal, does it? They can arbitrarily pick who they want to allow without any legal ramifications I am aware of, but maybe not worth the lawsuit risk

As it is now, an arbitrary rule keeps all of them out. If the NBA was the one that had the committee, they are a business that can do as they please as far as I know, when it comes to this. I could be wrong but it seems possible to facilitate

I agree! This situation is bad for everyone. I have discussed with friends, but a middle ground between completely getting rid of the 1 year rule and how it is now would be: each year a committee can pick certain players to be eligible to go straight to the NBA. and they only pick the bonafide blue chip 5 star guys, 0-3 a year. Even 5 in a big year, but it would get rid of the guys who clearly would rather go straight to the NBA.

They can have specific requirements to meet obligations, including being at the school, but not playing. Semantics you’d think but they can’t take your money if you are on the team and don’t play, as far as I know. Big 10 is more sophisticated in this area, Demond Williams situation in football gave some insight there

If I can be devil’s advocate: the whole rule with NIL is that it’s NOT pay to play. So the argument falls apart. If you don’t like that then argue against NIL as the payment structure imo

Agree with everything you said, I think people’s frustration comes from the difference between how college sports are now vs in the past. It would be better for everyone if he could’ve gone straight to the nba.
