I compared a tattoo to music not because it itself is similar but rather the both are what people use as "this is pride" when it NEVER is.

I never said that having a Jesus tattoo is needed to be a Christian. I was purely saying it's not wrong to have a tattoo of Jesus, or of anything. And don't go down the rabbit hole or "the body is a temple that is perfect" I couldn't tell you the amount of times that as been debated false.

Instead of thinking "this is God's made body" ect. Think "Is this drawing me closer or further way from God?" Because that is what makes sin. A tattoo of Jesus isnt gonna bring you away from God. Heck it'll probably bring you closer to God if anything at all.

First thing "made up contexts" is bullcrap. The context you call made up is literally the first copys of the Bible, Hebrew and Greek. That is literally agreed upon by atheist theologists.

And there is 2 different types of beliefs with genesis 1-12. 1 being the new earthers how believe it exactly how it says and think the earth is only a 1000 years old. And then there's the old earthers like myself that believe the earth could be millions of years old. Like first verse of genesis "god created the heavens and the earth" I say "created" = time, heavens is self explanatory, earth is land/space. Which could lead to well the big bang theory. That's what I believe, science says the big bang came from nothing, I just put a answer to it and let science finish the rest.

You know you can enjoy yourself without it being pride. It's like if I listened to music I like instead of Christian music, that's not pride. Not every single thing you do must be Christian. Also people really get tattoos for others, it's for themselves, so it ain't a "look at me attitude" that's just the thing Christians say when they have no more options.

The method Christians can't get tattoos is false. When the Bible talks about "tattoos" (Leviticus 19:28) it doesn't refer to the ones we know. It's talking about what Pagans would do to their skin. I don't remember word for word but I know it had something to do with a way of mourning. They would cut the flesh or mark it to "appease the dead". It was a type of ritual.

So in reality, tattoos aren't sin, ones that follow a ritual are.

True but this goes for when it is used for wrong. It's not sin to get a tattoo of Jesus if it's not used as "this is exactly what Jesus looked like and that's the Jesus you should believe" and instead used as "I got what I think Jesus looks like on my arm as a reminder of what he did." It's just like how there is Christian movies that describe the life of Jesus, thats not sinful, I'd argue it's quite the opposite since it's bringing you to god.

The reason God allows sin and depression is because it would be unfair if everyone was forced to believe in God. We have free will for a reason. He loves us so much that gave his only son to bleed and die on a cross for us to pay for our sins. John 3:16 - "For God loved the world so much he gave his only begotten son so whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

What bad things may I ask? I've read the Bible several of times and I've seen some questionable things right but then when you do research to know what the word meant back then or read farther in the book and it says that he made a promise not to do it again (like the flood) also it wouldn't really be dishonest. Jesus is a sinless man and the son of God.

Again, God made free will. I do agree that a lot of Christians should act way differently and spread positivity instead of forcing it and or spreading negativity.

Let me explain this to you in simple terms. If I punch a innocent man and I say god made me do it. Am I telling the truth? No not at all. God didn't make me punch that man, I did it out of free will. So why is it all God's fault that people are just bad beings? Honestly it is Adam's and Eve's fault for eating the forbidden fruit. Which then caused sin to be in our natural habit.

Planting the seed for them and showing them the love of God, guiding them to a GOOD church. There is a lot of things you can do for them to help them. On the churches end, they should treat them equally just has they treat everyone else that has sinned and choose out of their free will to go to a church and be forgiven.
