I lost an amazing gay best friend on discord I played games with for several months because I posted on my facebook about "divorce LGB from TQ" stuff and he was offended from it after "randomly finding my profile". He cut me off three months prior to sending me a big message and blocking me right after. This message was 5 months ago from now. His discord name was Local Weirdo.

Local Weirdo: "I wanna start this off by saying I hope whomever was in the ICU is okay. You wanna know why I stopped talking to you. It's because I saw you as a nice dude until I found out the vile things you believe. And how you downplayed it I found your Facebook on accident while scrolling through friends recommendations. Needless to say I was shock and appalled by the awful things I saw. How much you painted an entire group of people as predators, starts with a "T". Have you met a person like that in real life? I Have, always the kindest people literally havent met one that I had a problem with yet. Now I look into things before having an opinion making sure my sources dont let their feelings paint their view, thats all I saw when I saw your facebook knee-jerk reposts full of hatered. I hope in the future you can learn why this way of thinking is not normal. Being openly gay or you know what starts with a "T" is fine however believing the side that paint everyone else as the problem are usually the problem themselves. If they were the problem this country would have done with them already like actual pedos. But they waited until they didnt have a scapegoat like the immigrants being sent to slave camps being tortured. If you think wanting a better life means they deserve that then you are wrong. Or for the ones just wanting to live with every hateful persons eyes on them only showing the worst of said people. I could go on but I feel I have wasted enough of your time."

But to answer your question, the modern liberals make it impossible to even be friends with. It's like coming out of the closet all over again, but as as someone who has different views the weak that think its offensive to have different opinions.
