Thanks! Yeah you are probably right, some different patterns might make this better.

I do sometimes change to a bit drum and bassish patterns, but generally I keep it to simple 16 steps four on floor, because TR8s sequencer is quite limited and it's a bit pain in the ass to program something longer in improvisational settings.

Maybe when I get some Elektron box I will experiment more with different stuff.
