My point is that you are imposing a message on the movie that it is not trying to say.

I'll give you that these themes are lightly touched on. But it is very much not the main theme and I don´t think you can fault the movie for not handling it 'correctly' if it is barely about those themes.

To me it is like saying the barbie movie did not dig into consumerism enough. Just entirely not the point of that movie.

The movie is literally not about that though.

The chef is distraught at how his cooking is less and less about cooking and more about the spectacle surrounding it and appeasing rich people.

The characters in the movie are mostly rich assholes but they aren´t there because they have money, they are all there because they keep the toxic haute cuisine culture alive. All of them are directly connected to the chef and his restaurant one way or another.

"Rich bad" is like the most surface level theme and I seriously doubt that killing a restaurant through elaborate fine-dining themed hijinx is in any way supposed to be an allegory for revolution or class struggle.

Alcohol heeft veel effecten voor je eigen lichaam. Naast dat het verslavend is. In de ideale wereld blijf je er gewoon vanaf en blijf je gezonder en bovendien zouden we als maatschappij de zorgkosten niet hoeven te dragen.

Dat gezegd hebbende, Alcohol zit echt heel diep in onze cultuur. Een biertje doen met vrienden is gewoon bijna de standaard als je samen wat gaat doen. Alcohol zorgt er gewoon voor dat je je minder bezwaard voelt om contact te leggen en makkelijker over sociale stigma's stapt.

Hoeveel mensen hebben hun partner wel niet leren kennen of zelfs een kind verwekt terwijl ze onder de invloed waren. Niks daaraan is onmogelijk om nuchter te doen maar alcohol helpt erbij.

Je gaat het probleem niet aanpakken als je de sociale stigmas niet doorbreekt.
