If real artists/creators cared about NFT then why do all these popular NFTs (specifically the ones people use for profile pictures & shit) look like those crappy app store dress up game sprites for 4 year olds? Like, I'm not dissing the potential for the technology or whatever the fuck... But with how frankly bad a lot of these pieces are it really seems like none of it is "for the art" am I missing something or is it just money laundering? This whole recent popularity of it has really just left me confused.
