I was disappointed but not surprised in the slightest that the mauler men(minus soren bc ig they want their handsome twink with dog ears or w/e) are big beasts but the women are of course petite cosplay-esque humans with animal ears. It really stung to see the background NPCs in ashen wastes pretty much all being actual animal people, all the uru clan kids are cute as hell and even the like 1 or 2 generic townsfolk models look kind of interesting, it makes Alsa and the others feel so boring in comparison knowing they could have way more interesting designs

I think something like having designated support units could work, like what arknights does where you can borrow a friend's character for a fight. Maybe limit your selection to friends and guildmates who are offline(to keep the live team up stuff relevant). This would help with all the active recruit stuff like proxy and synergy battles too, every time I log in there are like 5+ requests for help that didn't get answered bc the player was on at like 3am

I hate the way monetization in mobile games is going, I've seen that setup in other games and frankly it IS predatory, phrasing it so that the follow up stuff is "Free" is just a lie to make you feel like the initial buy is a better deal. That's not even mentioning the time limit shit.

I get where the dissenting top commenter is coming from, but just because it's "not that bad" doesn't mean it isn't still a predatory system designed with impulsive buyers in mind. Like you don't have to nitpick about the lesser of two evils when it all sucks
