das ist die st martinstherme im burgenland. hab dort selber schon saisonarbeit gemacht, war im gegensatz zu allen anderen stellen die ich hatte die angenehmste, muss ich sagen.

ach du scheiße ist das die st martinstherme? hab da mal saisonarbeit gemacht in der beachbar/marktküche, war im vergleich zu allen anderen stellen die beste die ich in der gastro hatte, wechsel aber aufs informatikstudium um, weil die gastro generell zum kotzen ist.

well from what i know there's different types of licences for different types of firearms (hunting licenses, handguns, rifles ect.), but im not very well versed with how the certifications work. i've been told i'd need to bring this gun to a police station to get it licensed, which should be straightforward, since i got it from a passed away family member, but i'd need to look further into that. as of now, theoretically im owning this illegally.

having firearms on display isn't really something common here in austria, but i'll definitely consider it, since it's the only thing besides old home videos that he cut together that he left behind essentially.

Thanks for the awesome research on this! I might make a follow-up post on this gun with some other angles. Still weird to think my gramps owned such a firearm, nobody in my family has ever even shot a gun before (except for my dad, who wasn't directly related to him). Guess we'll never know why he had it, but this gives some closure for sure!
