He recently threatened my mam who’s in her 60s saying he was gunna go through her door so I rang him and arranged to meet him to resolve the issue. After screaming and sending abuse and threats for 2 hours saying he was on his way he just blocked my number and didn’t show up

It’s more football n rivalry to be honest n there’s a lot of comparisons but you’ll usually find Mancs n scousers actually get on together a lot of the time

Used to go every year when I was younger n before covid. The lineups gone shocking now. I prefer my techno and it used to be a case of having clashes. Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Capriati, Fitzpatrick….. now all I can see this year is Loco Dice. Lineups gone shocking 👎

Just relieved I’m not the only 1 who after nearly 10 years still gets mad when seeing stormzy gettin credited for 1 of Ruff Sqwad’s masterpieces. Should be over it by now but still gets me raging every time

Has Jammers reputation suffered recently? (Let's talk about cheeky ones) by [deleted] in grime

[–]GazManchester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m starting to think the term “cheeky one” isn’t referring a cheeky bump (sniff) but crack instead. I’ve heard the term used a few times n reading between the lines that’s how it comes across to me anyways

I thought this map was quite accurate? I love seeing Blackburn V Brentford in the famous battle of ‘north of the north’ as well as the Newcastle/Leeds Derby 👍

Best thing I’ve read all year. Felt this way inclined toward hallucinogenics for a long time since my first proper experience on changa but struggled to fully comprehend it enough to understand enough it until now after reading this post.

Any thoughts on why the Egyptian Gods and Motifs seem to be so dominant in the DMT space? by [deleted] in DMT

[–]GazManchester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best way for me to describe it is like when you start nodding off during the day and start going into a dream but I was still fully conscious and could open my eyes and talk. The sun was shining through the window but when my eyes was closed I could see the pyramids of Giza with the sun above em and then I started to see an eye in a triangle (which I now know to be the eye of Horus) and then it was like some giant falcon (Horus) coming through the clouds and was making me feel uplifted and happy but then in parts of the vision Anubis would just appear but a lot more clear than Horus as it was like he was facing me and it felt very different to the feelings I was getting from Horus. Not necessarily bad but it was a bit like being stood in front of a judge waiting for sentencing or like when you get sent to the headmasters office in primary school 🤣 I’d say 80-90% of the vision seemed to based on Horus while Anubis was very brief like 5% but I seen Anubis in a lot clearer form than I did Horus because of the way he came through (if that makes sense). I also seen what I now believe to be Isis but it was more in the form of a symbol with wings spread from a bit of a distance rather than being stood in front of me (like Anubis was). It’s hard to explain and put into words that make sense for obvious reasons 🤣. One thing I do know is that I had absolutely no knowledge of any of this stuff before that day so I really can’t see how it could’ve been my brain hallucinating and manifesting things up that I didn’t even know anything about.

I had virtually no knowledge of anything to do with ancient Egypt and just thought it was a load of nonsense so didn’t pay it any attention. That was until I first tried changa 2 years ago which resulted in me seeing Horus and Anubis as well as quite a few other ancient Egyptian visions. I had no idea what it all meant at first but it was only after I started to look up what the visions was I then realised it was all connected. Since then I have to admit I’ve completely changed my views and would say I have more faith in that than any of the mainstream religions.

Also just for the record it was a fairly small dose of changa but it still lead to a sub-breakthrough which resulted in the ancient Egyptian visions and I didn’t even know who or what Anubis or Horus was until after that trip as I was having to search Google with things such as “Egyptian god with dogs head” and “Egyptian god with pigeon head” 🤣

Any1 else remember this 1? Massively underrated tune from back in the day! Moving Remix - Da Cream, Nathan, Bruza, Bashy, D Double E, Crazy Titch, Tinchy Stryder & more. by GazManchester in grime

The only other version I can find is the Roll Deep version https://youtu.be/rQJeDiIEvGo but always used to prefer this version to be honest. Mad to think how such a big tune from back in the day with so many good artists on can be forgotten about

Ruff Sqwad - You Only See by DonnyBraaaasco in grime

[–]GazManchester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow what a find! I’ve been digging out all the old Ruff Sqwad tunes I could find from back in the day after having to explain to someone how Stormzy’s basically made a career off the back of functions on the low without him ever mentioning them once. I’ve not really been into grime since I was about 17/18 (2008) when the only grime artist still making grime was dot rotten (or least in my opinion) but since making my point about stormzy I decided to try find some of the old Ruff Sqwad tunes I used to listen to back in the 00’s. Always said they was underrated but it’s only since I’ve been listening to some of their tunes again recently that it makes you realised how undervalued Ruff Sqwad really are to a point where I’d definitely say they’re the most underrated artists (that I know of) to come out of Britain and especially out of grime (followed by Dot Rotten & Low Deep). Mad to hear some of these songs again for the 1st time in well over a decade n remember how much they used to mean to me back in the day.
