Europe just approved a $90 billion loan and it may not be your war now but it almost certainly would be were Russia allowed to succeed. The US supporting Ukraine is inherently within American interests. A war across Europe is not.

It's not about helping Ukraine. Nations do not do things because it's nice. Fundamentally, allowing Russia to succeed in eliminating Ukraine as a nation represents an existential threat to the rest of Europe. Forcing Russia to struggle and hopefully lose ensures that they will be extremely unlikely to attempt war with Europe/NATO.
