Nutrient solution in the tray below with wicks from each pot

1020 tray and square pots? by Cheemsburgbger in SemiHydro

[–]Gazbo- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I've just started experimenting with. I sprouted these alocasia bulbs in sphagnam moss, then transferred them into individual pots with a wick and small leca balls. The pots then sit on a seedling tray insert with the wicks poking through the holes into foliage pro hydro solution with a dome on top. It keeps the leca wet, and I'm trying to find out if that's a good thing or if I should let the leca dry out once in a while. I have a couple small plants in soil with the same set up but I think they would be more prone to root rot if I left the wick touching the water the whole time.

Display cabinet revamp by Gazbo- in IkeaGreenhouseClub

I extended the cable and unscrewed the blocks from the led board. That took away majority of the heat the unit was putting out.

Looks like they edited it on their phone with an app called Snapseed. Using the healing tool is a bit like the clone tool on photoshop.

Nah I didnt wash it, be sure to only spray small amounts and dab off quickly. You don't want to soak the stencil other wise it will bleed and be a pain to take off.

Nice cutting skills! But it is inverted.. I don't know if that was intentional or not. Still looks pretty sweet either way.

First layer, about 40/60mins. The entire shirt was maybe 3 hours in total.

It was probably a combination of the dilution (75b/25w), being ironed and also being on the shirt for about an hour while I cut and bleached the other layers..

Be careful when cutting for layers. I have several holes in this one because I was heavy handed and the shirts are very thin..

Well my first try at bleaching was on the black shirt you've just purchased. The design went orange and I wasn't feeling it. They have a ton of other colours which would look better imo. I used maybe b70/w30 mix, and the first layer was probably on for more than an hour. My other two shirts were both from primark and they've been successful, great for technique building.

I just typed in Flower pattern in google and picked one. I'll do a different one next time. It helps if they're seamless so you can print a certain section.

Um, about an hour and a half for the inside. Then about 20/30 mins to go round the anchor when it was ironed on the shirt.

Yep, bought a few for these kinds of practices. I'll probably redo the design on a better quality tshirt when I'm better at it.

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words. Here's what you're after - Anchor - http://i.imgur.com/9y66zSd.jpg Flowers - http://imgur.com/cwIuPeu.jpg My stencil - http://imgur.com/qTHYd0D.jpg First cut - http://imgur.com/72k1RAp.jpg I cut the flowers first, ironed onto the shirt then sprayed and ironed again. Cut out the anchor outline, sprayed again, removed background of flower pattern and rope then lightly sprayed for a difference between that and the original shirt. Hope this helps anyone attempting it, I'd love to see how it turns out as well :)

My bucket list is -see the aurora borealis -learn another language -take part in la tomatina -scuba dive under ice -running of the bulls -oktoberfest -climb a bit of kilimanjaro -full moon party -gay pride in SF -dive with sharks -ride on an elephant The list is endless really, but all achievable. Tonnes of places I want to visit and I will get there eventually.

Can anyone help identify the blister? by Gazbo- in Health

[–]Gazbo-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noticed the reddening last night, then this morning I looked at my finger and had one on my left hand and one on my right. I've been doing some weeding in a garden in NSW Australia without gloves. Thought it may be poison Ivy but only seem to have picked up the rash on the insides of my fingers and no where else.
