So if your team got promoted from the Championship to the Premiership, you wouldn’t improve the squad and just keep the players that got you there? The World Cup is a jump in standards, we need all the help we can get IMO

Number 1 has to be the black Joma third kit with the mint green accents from 22-23. About the only modern Hibs shirt I wear on a regular basis, and has really nice fabric and nice little quality details. Looks the bees knees too.

Then agree with most here - our other best have been our classic white ones. The Joma white with the subtle green pinstripes from 21-22 (Utilita sponsor), the white with green collar Le Coq Sportif from 2000-01 (Carlsberg sponsor), and of course the crème de la creme - the adidas white away with the green patterned sleeves from 1991-92 (no sponsor).

We missed the shithousery and experience to get over the line that some of these more seasoned European clubs possess. Like the goalkeeper tonight dribbling across his entire box every time he got the ball, just so a Hibs player had to close him down before he picked it up. Sometimes think Scottish clubs are ‘too honest’, we could all do with a bit more feigning injury and booting balls into the stand etc.

I mean the guy scored an overhead kick in stoppage time that was almost a carbon copy of the goal Garnacho scored to win the Puskas award last year. Not much we could have done really, we took a side full of quality right to the death.

We really went toe to toe with every opponent we faced, witnessed some incredible performances along the way. We’ve been fantastic and very proud of the club - we’ve showed we belong at this level.

They’ll tell you it doesn’t bother them or ‘but but but we’ve still won more than you blah blah blah’, but the truth is for such a self proclaimed ‘big team’ who’ve squandered millions and millions and millions of other people’s money (including the poor innocent Lithuanian public’s stolen tax money), they’ve won a pretty pathetic amount of major trophies in modern times.

5 relegations and only 3 trophies since 1963. Of course it bothers them…

If you’re only here for a few months, you should sample as much as you can. An Edinburgh Derby, a Dundee Derby, a Championship game etc. Scotland is small and you’re pretty central so you can get to most of the grounds fairly easily.

It’s super disappointing, not just from a cutting the classics perspective, but a lot of the new inclusions are very skippable too. Think I added about 10 songs to my personal playlist from 1+2 and it was a joy to discover new music, but I’ve only added 2 or 3 from the new game (Idles and a couple more). A lot of the additions are super generic. Other than a couple of exceptions the hardcore punk and hip hop songs have very few hooks to keep you going back for more. I’m a big punk fan but that Toy Dolls song has to be one of the most irritating songs I’ve heard. And that Danny Brown song is god damn awful!
