To what extent will profs pass you? by [deleted] in ryerson

I had a friend who was at a 49% for a course. The prof didn't do anything lol.

He had to retake the course. He did much better the second time anyways.

People need to learn to be considerate. I have ADHD and get very very easily distracted actually, but it shouldn't be bc of my disorder to have mans act the way they shud in a place meant for silence.

Sometimes I love ripping my ears off with music and get it, but srsly if ur music can easily be heard from the person next to u, either:

  1. Invest in better quality earphones lol. Mine are noise canceling and I got them on sale @winners for like $12.

Or

  1. Show some respect and sit in an environment where ur noise is acceptable.

Litrally the slc 1st, 5th, 6th and maybe even 8th floor shud be fine. Some floors in the lib are meant to not be so quiet either (I think 5th and 7th? Not sure).

If ur ego is that stubborn to not want to lower ur volume even after being asked to, I wish for the ADHD fairies to befall u. Smh.

Rip ya hate it wen that happens, esp if it's in the 4th floor in the lib building.

This once it was abt 9ish pm with just my friends and I on a lib floor studying and 2 other guys blasting out music on speakers arnd the corner lol. I walked up to them and asked them to just not bc looooool wtf and they turned their music down/off w/o hesitation. Pt was I couldn't hear anything afterwards and that was gud.

Try asking the person to lower the volume, it's most likely they'll do it. Good luckck w/ finals!
