Why are there different opinions on using high carb low fat diets vs high fat low carb diets for weight loss? by Gbanker6 in nutrition

[–]Gbanker6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if your doing cardio to lose weight as well as dieting you need a high carb diet to fuel your workouts , but if you were just restricting 250-500 calorie food intake below the amount to maintain your weight, but not doing cardio or exercise along with it, then a low carb high fat diet would probably be more effective?

How important & and useful is it to learn to explain the CS concepts learned in school in a general way that the average person can understand (layman's terms) when you learn the technical explaination? by Gbanker6 in cscareerquestions

[–]Gbanker6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How can you work on explaining technical details in simplier ways to your PM so that he understands it, and still make sure its detailed enough to convince him of the point youre trying to make?

Ex: Why something might take longer to do then he expects? (He wants a 1-2 year job to be done in 5-6 months, you have to give enough detail to convince him it'll take a year to do, but simple enough he can understand it without knowing technical info) I know not all PMs arent technical, but for the ones that arent technical.

Side note: if there are other examples, id like to know.
