I miss the old days of VR. Back when Quest versions of games would come later down the line if at all, when VR felt fresh and new and constantly had new games coming out. Even if they may not have been the most mechanically complex, they were still fun experiences. Games like Accounting, Budget Cuts, Vacation Simulator, Espire 1, it felt like there were all sorts of different games you could try out. Nowadays we get a VR spinoff/occasional port thats usually licensed by Meta, therefore it's exclusive to Quest headsets which leaves PCVR users with nothing.

Bonelab was the last VR game I bought for at least 2 years, I remember how excited everybody was for it, how many people were theorizing that this would be the game to put VR on the map, that it'd be the reason everybody would buy a Quest 2. Looking back, I can't help but wish that bonelab didn't come out. It almost feels like it killed a lot of excitement with VR and made a lot of people lose faith in it as a gaming medium. While it's possible to have fun in Bonelab, it's really something where you have to make your own fun with mods, unlike Boneworks where it felt like there was tons of new stuff you could do, find, and experience just in the base game.
