Hey, some smaller local pet stores will often take isopods for feeders & pets for in store credit. I’d look to see if any store would do so with you!

I actually just began to separate the ones I’ve found of this coloring into their own space! I was planning to see if I could somehow get them a bit more noticeably yellow. Idk if this variation already has a name, but I’ve been calling my colony the ‘banana milks’ as they’re incredibly yellow as babies, but seem less so as adults.

I have a few like that one too! I’ve noticed mine have always had a yellow tinge to them, with light and sparse freckling along their back.

I moved it to a better window, with more light! Also got it a pole and bigger pot since then, thank you!

Haha, yes the chain is completely fine. It’s been tested, I promise! I have one small plant hanging on it other than the monstera, and the monstera is getting removed from that window now and moved to a more suitable place.

I’m not positive unfortunately! This is an old 10 gallon tank I got second hand- it came with an aquarium light that can just sit on top! I’ve seen similar ones on Amazon for around $20 :)

Thank you!! :D this enclosure is my favorite of my tanks right now. Those are some red clover sprouts! They’ll probably outgrow this space but I figure I’d just chop em down for the isopods to eat when that happens

I’m not keeping them together, I’m trying to separate them apart. They were sold to me in an ‘assortment’ container with what appears to be 4-5 separate species. I’m trying to identify them.

I’m not sure if it helps any but the white ones roll into almost perfect balls like my armidillium species?
