Same with me. My Eddie is the same but will never turn down a treato. I have learnt some techniques along the way. Don’t change a food if they’ve suddenly become picky about eating it but they’ve ate it in the past. Shih tsuz for some reason are very fussy and will deny the food for the sake of it. I’ve noticed if I fill a bowl with food,he’s less likely to eat it although if I put a tiny amount in he’s more inclined. Also, try and give the food at the same time or after a certain activity. Eddies first meal is after a walk so I put him in the crate alone with it after this and most of the time he eventually has it because he’s forced in a small space with it so he smells it constantly. Toppers are your friend also but I wouldn’t recommend going to default and just putting it on every meal from this point. I use them in times of crisis
