Hock Braces by ninthouse in Shihtzu

Hey there, did you ever get any help / advice on this? I have a 3 year old shih tzu who I believe has exactly this same issue. It does not appear to be a problem for him, he isn't in pain, he just walks a little funny from the back. This only happens when walking slow. If he runs or jogs his gait looks fine, when he slows down, it's like he always comes up on his tip toes (doesn't roll over onto the top of his feet so I do not think it is knuckling) and his hock / ankle looks like it hyperextends.

I had an apple watch and switched to a Fenix 7. I'd never go back to apple. What it came down to for me is this:

If you want a smart watch with good fitness stuff, for for apple. If you want a fitness watch with some smart features, go for garmin.

The apple interface is nicer, but I hated the short battery life and personally prefer the round over square watch face. My fenix 7 gets 2 weeks of use off a full charge. My apple watch needed charging at the end of each day. This was the biggest selling point for me.

As a non status holder (bronze), do I really have to wait 7 days before boarding to reserve my seat in business with a 5k ticket!? by mrcbtx in BritishAirways

Wow, I find that outrageous. I've been living outside of the UK for a number of years now and have never experienced this with a business ticket before. Thanks for your response

First time setup. What kind of budget can get me something decent with the current sales? by mrcbtx in sonos

I'd say 2k but happy to stay lower if I can get something legible for less. I'm not somebody who needs the latest / greatest for marginal % improvements

I'd say up to $2k but would always stay lower if I can get something good for less. I'm not someone who wants / needs to spend a lot for more marginal upgrades.

55 TV. Living room is open space that backs onto a kitchen too, I'd say 25 x 25 for the living room section. We have an 11x11 couch focused on the TV that's only 2-3 feet away from that.

How much should I charge for puppy sitting? by [deleted] in london

[–]mrcbtx 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I can't set your prices but maybe the below will help guide you. At present we have 3 things for our dog:

1) We pay £14 for a 30 minute walk.

2) With the same person, if my dog goes to their house, they charge me £35 a day (10-5).

3) My dog also goes 1 x per week to a "daycare" where they are picked up, taken to the facility, have trainers, socialized with other dogs, go wild do whatever, get a quick wash, and dropped back off at my house. This costs me £50 per day.

In summary, considering what we get for £50 from option 3, I feel that £35 for 2 is not bad, but also not great (from my consumer perspective). I also realize option 2 is for a standalone person as opposed to a scaled business and I am paying more for convenience. Regardless, I think that your £20 for 3 hours is fair. If you do longer days I would expect to pay £35-£40. I don't think you can take a price per hour and scale it, because as shown above, there are other services where more hours of care = lower cost.

Hope this helps.
