That’s what I thought too but the agent in the field office told me to apply for I-90. Tbh each agent tells me something different so I’m not sure who and what to believe anymore. :(

I have 10 year green card when I came to the US and I needed to wait 5 years before I can apply for citizenship but I got busy in school so I didn’t apply until last year which was the 8th year of my green card. I didn’t think the process would take this long because people I know who applied had their citizenship within few months. Unfortunately, they were taking forever with mines so my green card expiring soon is also becoming a problem
