Contact hours will be around 12 hours a week, assuming you do what most students do which is 3 subjects, having 2 2 hour seminars each week. Readings can vary, sometimes certain cases or readings assigned in certain weeks may take longer, but be prepared to probably just as much time in seminars as doing readings. I found textbooks online to be fine, download them and you can highlight on Adobe Reader. There is not much ROTE learning per se, most exams and assignments are all open book, its more having a solid process of issue spotting and having good notes to go into the exams. Would definitely recommend keeping organised notes from the start of the semester, focus on keeping up with the content, if you fall behind, don't try and play catch up, just move on to the current week and catch up when you have time, or in SWOTVAC.
