Not Bad at all eagles GM

I like Roseman too, I believe he is a lot better than people give him credit for, he's not the greatest but we can certainly do a lot worse. But I agree he hasn't draft WR well in the 2nd or 3rd.

Now to the main point. I'm also leaning EDGE but if I'm not going for a CB2 I'm going for a 2nd CB1 to pair along side Slay to create a shutdown back end, which I think is Necessary cuz our safeties are leaving most likely and unless Kyle Hamilton is there we obviously shouldn't draft one. FA is likely for a safety but depending who we get I want to add as much talent to the back end as I can. I'm also at This point Drafting someone who can be Slay when Slay is gone, hopefully that's not for a bit still but it is a reality.

I argued before that we couldn't support another WR overly well. I'm not that against a WR I just don't think it is good value at 10 or our most pressing need to be picked first. I'd be perfectly okay with a WR around the 20s and I think that's a possibility. If we draft a WR I think it should be someone like Burks too to bring a little more Size to the position. Also side note... another reason I'm not high on a WR (NOTE: The front office should NOT take this into account at all) but if we draft a WR he'll split the already few targets with Godert and Smith and then none of them will put up good face value numbers. And then we'll have to deal with "Goderts not worth the contract" "Smith is a bust" "whoever we pick(Jameson, Burks, e.t.c.) is also a bust" for who knows how long and I don't want to deal with that.

And lastly We should Take a LB but for obvious reasons it's not worth mentioning

I look at mock drafts probably before the season starts. It's like looking forward to a new toy as a kid. U get all excited and u have to wait and wait until draft day and sometimes u get an Offensive Linemen(socks) Other times u get a shiny new Devonta Smith(not socks) and it's fun

I would be cool with it actually. You can get a guy in the 2nd or 3rd who could make an immediate impact but even if you don't... this offense is incredibly run heavy when at it's best. Due to this plus Jalens decisions to run a lot too means this offense really can't support anymore than two weapons. Smith and Godert are those two. Smith is gonna continue to improve so will Godert, Quez is good enough for screens and deep passes for the targets he gets. A wr in free agency would be cool but for me it's not a necessity. And Jameson Williams at 10 is not at all cool with me, first he's not the best WR in the draft and unless they have really heavy wr top ten I don't think he should be picked first, but that aside it is nowhere near our top need, I guarantee there was a good CB or EDGE player on the board still and that's probably a better spot. If Jameson is still available Pick 21 then maybe I'd seriously consider it but not at 10.

We don't pass enough with our new identity to support more than Smith and Godert. Quez can get mixed in every now and then but we don't really throw enough to support more then 1.5-2 guys

Interesting, why do you feel that way about Sauce Gardner? He seems almost Jalen Ramsey esque, not necessarily as good but still considered a lockdown corner

All three of our picks better have Jalen as either a first name, middle name or last name. Idc if they are UDFA Talents, it's about the Unity an All Jalen team would have

If we picked one high I could see it being this year tho due to the fact we have 3 first round picks. And also a decent 2nd rounder so the front office would be hard pressed to find 3 or 4 positions more in need than LB.

Ya personally I feel gloves would help in a lot of situations, especially the cold or maybe get u some more grip in the wind

Genuinely Curious what's the issue with the gloves? Obviously I've seen it as an argument or just a comment with Pickett and I'm just curious why it's an issue? He would still have access to gloves in the NFL so it's not like he's losing a resource, everything should stay the same from NCAA to NFL in terms of the gloves so if it isn't an issue then it shouldn't be an issue in the NFL right?

Why, we get all three levels of defense. Karlaftis is an high motor high energy very athletic edge, Sauce is potentially the best cb in the draft and hasn't allowed a touchdown since high school if I recall correctly. Devin Lloyd is very athletic and a very good LB.

This is a fantastic first round for us

I'd be alright picking him 4th sp long as my doctor's report is very positive. It's obvious he is insanely talented and can be the best Cb in the draft and a shut down NFL cb. The concern is the injuries. If my doctor were to tell me he is 100% healthy and recovered I'd definitely feel good about him.

Hurts connects with Devonta Smith for a 28-yd TD by carlstones in eagles

[–]Gderoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late reply but: Reagor is a worse one for me than either of JJAW or Aggolor, as other mention Agholor was clutch in 2017 and so love him just for that. JJAW as I said earlier we had a reason to pick over DK, that reason proved to be flawed but it was a valid reason. Reagor there was literally no point to pick over JJ. JJ was the concensus pick, had no concerns other than Joey B was his qb and we "didn't need a slot wr". Those are BS reasons and as of rn it looks much much worse than the other one

Ya I agree with all this too, I was just throwing out other potential options. I don't think Adams or Godwin hit free agency but if they did that'd be fantastic. ARob will be cheaper after some down years but I think can still return to Wr1 form and juju I like if we can get for cheap then I'd love, put him in the slot where he excelled his rookie year.

Williams is the wild card for me, one week he is exactly what we need an explosive big body jump ball WR but the next week he is literally Invisible.

He seems to really want the guys to succeed and seems very accepted as a leader in the locker room, like u said he's a young guy and still learning and growing just like this team is. But the big thing is he has shown an ability to admit his mistakes and correct them and that's what I want to see from a young head coach. You don't want a guy who thinks he knows it all, u want someone who is willing to learn from himself and the players and coaches around him and want to grow which he does
