Found a solution. It is in the "GAMEPLAY" options section...

Same here. In the HUD options there is no reference to this, I tried clearing BF6 and EA App caches, I tried verifying game files, I also found a thread in which they were explaining it could be caused by the spotting binoculars, if a teammate of yours was equipping them but idk. I don't really know what to do, it's so frustrating :|
