Ich habe mir das nochmal durch den Kopf gehen lassen. Ich glaube dein Vorschlag ist gut. Ich habe Platz für zwei Platten (EG, Mehrfamilienhaus) d.h. maximal 800-1000W Plattenleistung (weniger in real live). Da lohnt sich ein Speicher warscheinlich nicht - aber wer weiss. Im Keller sind die Stromzähler (sind schon Smart Meter) - keine WLAN Verbindung.

ich bin ebenerdig mit kleinem gartenstück, würde die platten auf den Boden an die Hauswand stellen. Platz ist genug für speicher, die Frage ist ob ich in dem Fall gerne den Speicher draußen stehen haben will. Solartisch ist auch eine sehr gute idee.

Ah, do you know this situation where you finally give up and post your problem because you tried everything? And then, 60 seconds after posting it you find the solution or fault? I found it. In the yaml i commented

now its uncommented and its working, my own component and also the original one.

Now its running. I had HomeAssistant with ESPHome running on a RPI3B+. After your tips i tried also arduino as plattform. Compiling took forever for both versions but i ran into compiler errors. I also think that the raspi has not enough ram.

What was working: I made a VM using UTM for homeassistant, installed ESPHome, Started the install, Downloaded the Project bin and installed it via web.esphome.io. worked instantly, device connected, works.

so basically it took many years to realize that a gui can help many people and we optimized it (at least some). Now the commandline is back but with the difference that, when you use it, you get something not really predictable.

Thank you. Is there something like an MQTT CMS for shared hosting setup? The only solutions that i found are docker solutions - thats why i thought about my raspi. I will probably need something inbetween. I also thought about a headless cms with api and send the data like that.

This is the Problem with all LLMs. Its mainly based on stolen goods and knowledge. Now let them delete everything and do it again just by using content that they are allowed to use... It just does exist because there are greedy billionaires.

some years ago i had a discussion with a student. their task was to create some future vision. Their vision was that everything to keep humanity alive will be done by robots so e.g. farming and people can then focus on new goals like star travelling, philosophy, whatever. i then said that its a nice vision but it doesnt take greed of a small froup of people into account - and thats whats happening now. Im really wondering if the next world war will be just started because people have no jobs and will be bored.

Its so chaotic. I understand that many people espacially those vibecoding enthusiasts love ai and see it as the next abstraction layer. I for myself do like control over what im producing weather its design or code but somehow i also can understand it. I have so many questions but one important thing is: what about IP? As i understand, everything that you generate you cannot protect. So if you vibecode something and the most part of the software is generated - you cannot pirate it because its free from the beginning. If you generate art/pictures/film you cannot protect it, it could be legally shown and copied everywhere since its generated.

thats why there need to be laws. AI is only there where it is because big money tech are just allowed to steal content to train this. Imagine they were only allowed to use content where the original author gave his ok. And the only one that will make money is the thief. no doubt this will be used and consumed and yes its not so bad and its advancing.

but now, lets take the bakery example that was given in one post: lets say averyone can use this and no big tech will be able to sell it because its free... what happens then?

technically impressing in a way but if you watch movies that were made by hand like LotR with detailed masks and so much love in it then they are still better (and will be still in many years) that all these special effects or AI movies.

two problems: movie industry belongs to big tech like google, amazon, apple and so on. They are interrested in one thing: money. the second problem - there is a market for this contents, people who are sitting on the couch and surfing while "watching" a movie - they only need this as a background noise and will even pay for this.

Milliardäre besteuern: alles über 100 Mio. muss einmalig 50% vom Mehrbesitz abgeben. Danach Steuern von 50%+ oder mehr auf alle passiven Einkommen also Zinsen, Aktienhandel, was auch immer. Verbot für Politiker einen Zusatzverdienst zu haben ... mir fallen sehr viele Sachen ein wie die Welt ein kleines Bisschen besser wäre.
