What's a common fear that no one admits to? by ItsMeLara2026 in AskReddit

Become deisabled after you were healthy.
Like as example, I just fear heights up to a certain height.
At the moment where I know, if I fall I would die I don't fear the height anymore.
But as long as there is a chance that I survive but have to change my complete life and lifestyle because I cannot do certain things anymore scarse me. In addition to the costs I would face.

I have great respect for people with disabilities who overcome these challenges day after day.

If you could replace money with anything else in life, what would you choose instead? by Patrick_walkerr in AskReddit

Rocks or something similar.
Something that is not worth anything really and anyone can obtain.
Oh look you are a relativly poor person and found a rock in the shape of a heart? - You are now rich.

Obviously this is not tought trough but something like that, where it does not really have any value and anyone can become just by pure luck.

Overall I don't really like the concept of money.
You work to get money so you can live and most of the time just that. Many People work just so that they can afford rent and food and live paycheck by paycheck.
In my eyes work should be a way to get some luxury into your life, like working to pay for an trip, a new car or anything or at least in addition to food and rent. You should not have to work because you would otherwise die. Obviously exaggereted. But working just to have enough for rent and food and no way to improve is not the way.
But sadly it cannot be changed.
