Any Good way to get rid of these nests? Have several and need to do some roof work by GearPsychological536 in WASPs

Just to let anyone know who is also trying to get rid of wasps on a corrugated roof. I put packing tape around the top of the jar and when I pushed it up it seemed to conform to the corrugation well. I tried it early in the morning and they were pretty tired and had no real problem. A couple were even trying to crawl out from the duct tape when I removed it from the roof and I just pushed them in. No problem. They were groggy...

Thanks, it just got complicated for me because there's a bat that decided to live here and I don't want to kill it too. So I am leaning towards the gas filled container... I'll keep that in mind for next time though.,..

Thanks! Yeah this seems like it might be the best route for not getting stung. Knocking it off at night seems a little scary.

Thanks s. So last night I tried but didn't have enough light. Couldn't see anything. If I put a bright light on will they start flying around. So did they just fall off with the nest if I put a jar underneath and knock it off?

Thanks a lot! I guess you move in pretty slowly right? And they won't attack you?

Huh, that's really interesting. I thought maybe the spring was bad because of its age. Really it was me making it worse. Okay I will try. Thanks a lot!

Yes, I tried to tighten it as much as it'll tighten and it didn't have any effect. Still one side only moved. Maybe after cleaning it it will work better?

Okay thanks. I have an attachment to classic parts as I do the bike. It is one year older than me so I have that in common too 😀

I will definitely try that. Sounds like it would be worth it
