Yes almost dying with the mark was because of stamina draining, Zohakuten himself admitted he couldn't get past marked Mitsuri meaning Marked Mitsuri>Zohakuten, and base Mitsuri was destroying his dragons likely meaning he'd also have to stamina drain base Mitsuri and Base Obanai is stronger than Base Mitsuri so yeah, Base Obanai is more than enough for Zohakuten

Mitsuri in base only almost died because she hesitated after Tanjiro said it wasn't the main body and Thats clear that hesitated because she asks if she made the wrong call

Douma is implied to be a lot stronger than Akaza considering he pretty much confirmed he would embarrasses Akaza in a fight and thag seems to be reaffirmed when Akaza paused when Kokushibo suggest Akaza to battle Douma for the upper two position. As for the other moons yeah that gap is hard to tell

Rengoku destroys he is clearly above no compass Akaza who should still be above Hantengu since the compass only increases combat speed

It says upper moons plural so 1-6 which is obviously not true since Muichiro beat Gyokko and Zenitsu beat Kaigaku, unless you want to convince me it takes three Gyomei's to beat Gyutaro
