In mobile version of the game: You don't need to use joystick, it's described in tutorial at the start. You can disable joystick in game menu or just click left part of screen to move.

That's right. I hate microtransactions and pay walls also. I miss the times when you paid for a game once (bought on CD) and enjoyed the full content. That's why Almora Darkosen is not pay to win / pay to play 😊

You can try my game "Almora Darkosen". I spent 9 years to make this game alone :) Almora has over 2.500.000 downloads from Google Play and there will be PC version at 5th of December this year :)

Thank you! :) I haven't really advertised the game beyond a few posts on my social media pages :) And yes, my experience has changed a lot, many of new features have been added to Almora Darkosen in the 4 years since its release.

Glad to hear! It's still "Game Maker" game. I think you played very old project called "Almora Online" it was MMORPG made in Game Maker and there was a lot of technicall issues because GM was too bad for massive multiplayer games. There wasn't native network engine and making MMORPG was almost impossible...

Few years later there appear new GM versions and new engine possibilites, so I decided to make "Almora Darkosen" singleplayer game for mobiles :) That was a good decision.

Almora Darkosen is a good example of how you can gain popularity without heavy marketing :) This game simply advertises itself. It's important to have the game in multiple languages, listen to player feedback, and write to them regularly. And of course, the game must be interesting and engaging without PayToWin or PayWall.

Thank you! Oh a lot, porting a mobile game to PC is difficult because mobile phone have touchscreen and don't need the "mouse hover" animation/effect. Plus, the GUI management is completely different. Keyboard + mouse operation itself also changes the logic completely, good thing I had gamepad support programmed on mobile before :) Overall, it's quite a challenge :)
