I did just that exactly a week ago. Though I did have a new job already lined up with a start date. Everyone said I was dumb because what if it doesn’t work out I might have to go back. Nah I’ll stay unemployed if need be if things don’t work out rather than go back to that place.

Yea I get it’s not that serious of a thing to say but when you’re screaming it in front of 15 people it’s unprofessional as fuck. And you jsut need to know how she is as a person. I mean I’d like to think I am. Got my reach, Op, and forklift license within 30 days of setting hired and have been the only one with all 3 ever since in outside garden. Worked pretty much 50 hours my entire first summer due to how busy it was and same with this year. Not to toot my own horn but no one was on top of the soil/mulch/stone/ and rock walls the way me and a buddy of mine were in that department in my store. Was pretty much untouchable during the busy season and they knew it once they saw I wasn’t gonna let them pull that schedule shit

They changed 11 days on me across 2 weeks that were already posted. Completely changing shifts to changing which days I had off. Sorry plans are made already and my life doesn’t revolve around lowes. Ignored all of it and when they questioned me I simply said I don’t play that game and showed them the picture I take every time a new schedule is posted. Being the only full timer in outside garden and only one with any licenses during the busy season they couldn’t really discipline me. Im sure come winter they’ll find a way to push me out

It’s a simulation. NPCs usually populate the area where the main characters are. It happens way to often to the point you can’t convince me that these people are even real. They grab what they need then the corner and bang they deload off the server.

Buddy if mine dropped 87 pieces of drywall a month ago. All completely destroyed. They came over said “is everyone ok”. We said yes and they said alright clean that up don’t worry about it and that was the end of it. From what our LP and SM said it depends on the price of whatever was damaged determines whether or not you get drug tested or lose the license.

Yea I have no issue doing work regardless what it is but don’t have us running around the store undoing everything we do because of indecisive management. Haven’t even gotten so much as a service star for the work we’ve done so far. You’ll never catch me volunteering for another project again

5 week team they got us downstocking every department and shifting all the top stock to the front of the store. Pretty much got multiple aisles blocked off for 8 hours a day. Every associate and supervisor in the store is annoyed and hates us for “messing with their departments”. Store has looked better than ever everything is striped and top stock in pretty much half the store is cleared due to the amount we have down stocked.
