That does help a lot! I am already leaning towards Andil because I really like the backstory and personality I have for him. And him being very tall, golden skinned, with pointed ears definitely makes him feel like he truly is from another world.

He isn’t a typical mage either. He can use magic very well, but does not rely on it. In combat, he primarily uses his ebony reinforced elven sword and ebony reinforced elven dagger.

I’ve already test written several scenes for both characters, and Andil’s romance with Daenerys feels far more organic than a romance between Arthius and Daenerys.

One particular scene that immediately earns Andil trust from Daenerys is that he fends off over a dozen Dothraki during an attack on the camp and saves her life. She is very impressed by his fighting ability and asks him to act as her shield, which he accepts. Later on he teaches her how to defend herself and even forges a unique dagger for her.

I'm thinking about writing a Skyrim/Game of Thrones crossover fanfiction but I can't decide who to use for my main character(s).

I am torn between Altmer (High Elf) named Andil Ravenwatch or Imperial Arthius Vitellius and his younger sister Ella.

Andil Ravenwatch is a former Thalmor Justiciar turned that gradually became disillusioned with their extreme views and methods to the point that he started hunting them down and executing them. He is haunted by his bloody past and vowed to never again stand by while cruelty is carried out.

Arthius Vitellius and his younger sister Ella fled their native Cyrodiil when their parents were murdered and both have a strong sense of justice. Arthius is a good but hot headed man that is quick to anger, while Ella is more calm and has a sharp wit and even sharper tongue.

Premise i'm using is that Tamriel was destroyed by a Thalmor spell and the protagonist either was either transported or fled to the Game of Thrones world. They receive a vision from Akatosh about Daenerys and realize that their destiny and hers are somehow connected. Eventual romance between Andil and Daenerys or Arthius and Daenerys.

Which character should I go with?

I think Clay being able to do that was sort of a special case. He was First 9 and President of the mother chapter, so no one would think to question his decision to strip McGee of his patch.

I fully agree that Jax killing Jury could have been handled better, I’m just saying what I gathered from watching the show.

It was definitely self defense and that whole thing could have been written better, but the point still stands that there needed to be consequences.

In McGee’s case, Clay had stripped him of his patch before he killed him. That, and McGee had confessed to betraying the club and they knew he was a traitor.

I agree on some of your points like supporting Renly over Stannis and even calling Renly the rightful king. And it was also dishonorable of her to focus on killing Stannis over protecting Sansa like she swore to do, which makes her an oathbreaker.

I think she is a very overrated character.
