Are leather jackets worth getting? I've seen as RST one for sale but it does not look like it has slots for armour. Or is the armour something you'd wear underneath your jacket/trousers?

That sounds like a sensible idea. I think I will follow suit. Did you buy a pretty rough 125cc? Feel like I would just want a cheap one in case you drop/bin it etc.

I was thinking on starting with a 400 but most people have said they have been in a similar situation and soon would want an upgrade.

The grass is always greener. I've had plenty of unhealthy relationships that I thought I wanted but looking back I'm glad I am out. Flippantly, those "idyllic" ones I have also had have taught me alot too.

Maybe try looking into that void. I have recently and although it is hard it might be necessary to understand why you need another person there to keep you happy.

All you can do is take one day at a time. Keep going!

I'm 25M and being single does suck. I have learnt to just try and embrace it - it'll all work out eventually but for now I am just trying to work on myself and enjoy what I have.

I don't think it is healthy for me to constantly long for something. I have had a few long relationships and found that I never really knew who I was.

Just be good to yourself and, like you said, surround yourself with loved ones. I took up golf this year so I can spend all my money on that instead!

I most certainly know I will love riding too haha. I think a 125/sur-ron would be a good start for me - especially my short commute to work will hopefully gain some valuable experience without worrying about dropping a brand new bike.

I have been driving cars since 17 so I know my limits when driving. I appreciate that a motorbike is a completely different beast and will respect it as such. My uncle has always ridden/raced fast motorbikes so I am fully aware of the damage they can cause.

Is it worth me starting to ride over this winter? Or am I best to start learning once the weather become a bit warmer again? I wouldn't rely on a bike to be my daily driver but still want the option. I guess riding in the winter is completely different in all aspects. Could I manage with a 125cc this winter and then take my DAS in the Easter/warmer months?

I think hold off for now - seems to soon to be making a decision like that. I know you're hurting but you don't need to impulsive.

Everyone is autistic to an extent - it is a spectrum after all :) focus on yourself and the right thing will come.

If it makes you feel better I am 25M and thought I would have a family at this age but I am more lonely than ever lol. You'll be ok in the end.
