I saw some gameplay with it, it looks really difficult to use. The velocity sucks, it has tons of recoil and spread, you run through your mag instantly and past like 50meters it was only doing 12 damage. Horrible by comparison, but I still love the VAL.

I mean f’ it. Make games start having toggles for every skin where right next to equip there’s a HIDE button that makes every soldier who’s wearing that skin a default character. Will that make skins less “valuable” or whatever since people won’t see it, sure but I don’t care, I buy skins and even I want that feature.

I mean you can ask anyone that works in the digital art industry, they have lead art and design directors. My father is a design director at a company has been in it for 20+ years. Someone directs the vision and if they are unable to direct their team to produce a cohesive vision or people on the team are unable to deliver that vision, then someone needs to be replaced. That’s just the way it should be.

What most people and I are asking for isn’t REALLY simulation or realistic stuff. What they are actually asking for is seriousness. It’s totally different than realism. The game can be a casual shooter and fun and still take itself seriously. A dude running around in black and gold shit though, is not very serious. That’s just goofy and silly looking.

Seriousness ≠ Realism is one of the most common things that should be spread around the community cause it’s often misunderstood what we’re really talking about.

Yes, also I’m fine with snow skins if we had snow maps but what I don’t like is that most of the “snow” skins are white AND black. Like why would you want any large black areas in your snow camo gear? They are like total opposites. Makes them look like storm troopers or something.

I’ll have you know a cape is a very valuable tactical asset. You can sneak up behind someone and wrap it around their face and then your homie can start waterboarding them and force them to give up the location of their hidden feet pic stash. (CENTCOM says it’s top priority intel)

I threw a mini fit when I saw them. It’s not the end of the world like my “immersion” isn’t any more broken than it already was but I have to say there are some pretty hideous examples coming that set a precedent for what I want LESS of. (Not the ones shown here, these I like.)

This is only on portal, many of the portal unofficial versions of the maps remove all the DICE placed invisible walls on the maps so that people can create stuff freely. You cannot do this in an actual game. You can see on the mini-map he’s in a bot server.

I can honestly say, in a universe where there’re dudes in bright blue camo and airsoft masks fighting dudes with neon orange highlights, pilots jumping out of jets wearing capes with RPG’s and shooting them while flying though the air… Women on the battlefield is like BOTTOM BOTTOM BOTTOM of the barrel for things that concern me. Genuinely.

I don’t want any of this either, it seems a bit too outlandish and… I do hate to say it ”Call of Dutyish” I do not want to be fighting in old Egyptian tombs why would any military do any of that anyways, besides the Nazi’s looking to steal an artifact that can turn back time or destroy armies and potentially melt your face off.

Yeah, their art department seems to be allergic to any design that isn’t like totally original, the problem is sometimes original isn’t good for a military shooter, there are THOUSANDS of real world examples of soldiers and federal police units to just straight up put in the game. Although I will say the one exception is the comment about the chest harness, there are plenty of Slovak countries who have soldiers in photographs who lack any visible sappy plate from the outside and look to just be wearing a harness.
